- Deposit payments
A deposit of 25% will confirm the booking. The booking will not be held unless the deposit is received within 7 days of the
reservation. A refundable deposit of £50 per cottage is required against possible breakages/damage. Refunds will be made within 4 weeks of departure from the cottages.
- Payment of balance due
The balance of the cost of the holiday will be payable 8 weeks prior to the commencement of the letting at the latest.
- Commencement of the booking
Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday unless otherwise agreed in writing. The property will be available from 4pm on the day the booking commences and must be vacated by 10am on
the last day of the booking.
- Capacity of the cottages
The normal capacity of each property is specified in the attached literature, normally 4 persons per cottage. Additional occupants must be
declared and agreed at the time of booking. Rental charges are based on the agreement that no more than the original number of persons booked may occupy or use the facilities provided.
- Equipment
All cottages are equipped with facilities for self catering including duvets and pillows. Double beds are all normal size. Bed linen is not included but is available at a small additional charge. Towels are
not provided.
- Cancellation
Holidays may be cancelled at any time providing that the cancellation is made in writing by the person who made the booking subject to the following conditions:
If advice of cancellation is received 6 weeks prior to departure, deposit forfeited. If advice of cancellation is received between 6 and 4 weeks prior to departure, 50% of the total cost of the accommodation forfeited.
If advice of cancellation is received between 4 weeks and 1 week prior to departure, 75% of the total cost of the accommodation forfeited. If advice of cancellation is received less than 1 week prior to departure,
100% of the cost of the accommodation forfeited. Travel insurance covering cancellation is recommended. This can normally be arranged through a travel agent or Insurance Broker. Form E111 from the Post
Office will assist with any medical expenses.
- Gas and Electricity
These are included in the rent. Heating costs are extra for low season and winter lets.
- Swimming pool
Weather permitting the swimming pool is normally open from the end of May until mid September. All children must be supervised by an adult. Diving is not permitted. Use of the pool
is limited to the hours of daylight and tenants are requested to comply with this condition.
- Personal belongings/cars
The use of accommodation, swimming pool and other amenities is entirely at the user's own risk and no responsibility can be accepted for injury, loss or damage to the user's or other
visitors' belongings. The proprietors cannot accept responsibility for children (or adults) playing around the swimming pool, fish pond, river or buildings. We strongly recommend that children are supervised at all times.
- Client's responsibilities
In order to avoid personal injury Clients must take every reasonable precaution in respect of themselves and their dependents and act in a responsible manner at all times.
- Complaints procedure
In the unlikely event of a complaint this must be notified immediately to the proprietors
- Hirer's responsibility
The hirer is responsible for leaving the accommodation in a clean and tidy condition. Damage or breakage left unreported could result in part or all of the breakage deposit not being refunded.
- Brochure
Whilst every effort has been made to ensure that the representations contained in the brochure and in all advertising material are made in good faith, neither they nor any oral representations made by
us will create any liability on the part of the owners.
